• Miss Crombie and Miss Love’s Science Clubs

    Super scientists!
Science; you’ve got to love it! And who couldn’t, when it involves creating ice cream (without using a freezer!), lava lamps and bath fizzers?! Our 30 Year 1 and 2 scientists have been very busy over the last 3 weeks embracing the subject of Chemistry. For our final session, we hade a biological and evolutionary focus by exploring the question: just how important are our thumbs? Miss Love and I provided just as much educational mayhem to end our 4 weeks stint! It has been evident that the children have hugely enjoyed seeing milkshake solidify before their very eyes and their bath fizzers foam over uncontrollably during construction! We are already brewing pints of strong coffee to prepare for repeating all of these crazy experiments all over again after half term with our next lot of 30 super scientists! Please do try these activities at home; simply contact Miss Love or myself for instructions and more information!
