Closure Resources Homepage - Weekly planning and guidance

Whilst the school has partially re-opened many will continue to stay at home. For Term 6 the school will continue to provide resources for learning at home. The links below take you to separate pages for each year group where you will find weekly plans and resources to support remote learning.

The weekly plans detail areas that are also being covered in school at that time. These will be sent to parents by email on Fridays, ready for the following week. The plans will also be available here on the school website along with any supporting documents.

If you have any questions regarding the resources being offered, or just wish to touch base with your child's teacher regarding any aspect of your child's home schooling, then please send an email to the appropriate yearXteachers@emmergreen.reading.sch.uk email addresses (where X is the school year your child is in). A member of the teaching team will then respond to your enquiry
*Please note that we can only accept emails from parent email addresses at this time. If your child wishes to email the teacher directly then they are welcome to do that, but only from a parent or carer's email account.

You may find it helpful to take a look at the Class Weekly Timetables page to see how we normally allocate time to different subjects and activities during a normal school week. Do know however, that no-one expects you to be able to school your children from 9am-3pm, and there are plenty of helpful sites on the web such as this one that give practical tips and advice on how to plan out your days and weeks. The schedule you put in place needs to work for both you and your children.

If you are looking for information on a particular subject or specialist area, the expandable sections below list multiple websites and resources suitable for children right across the primary school age range.

Please check the Reading Corner for lots of fun reading activities, and the Book Reading pages where you can watch videos of our staff members reading a variety of stories for you.
