Music at Emmer Green
Music at our school is a creative and social art where children have the opportunity to enjoy musical experiences through listening, singing, movement and dance, and by playing tuned and un-tuned percussion. Children throughout the whole school have weekly music lessons. They have numerous opportunities to create their own musical compositions too!
In addition to this, all Key Stage Two pupils have opportunities to learn the recorder. There is a school orchestra, Junior Choir and the Hexagon Choir. There are also Peripatetic Music Staff that offer private tuition in flute, cello, piano, clarinet, saxophone, guitar and violin.
In term 5, there will be an Orchestra performance at 2.30pm on Tuesday 14th May. In term 6, the Summer Concert will be at 7pm on Thursday 6th June.
